4. THE PERSON I REMEMBER MOST IN MY SECONDARY SCHOOL

As a human it is normal when we remember someone most in our memory. this habit will happen if he is someone special in our life whether it happens well or not. I also have someone I remember the most and she is my kakak angkat.

Firstly, I remembered that when I was still small, I really admired my kakak angkat whom I fondly called Kak Rose. She took me as her adik angkat when I was Form Three. She was in Form Five. I remembered her so much because she always the most talked about senior in my school.

Kak Rose was popular because she was a beautiful young lady. She was fair skinned, tall, and beautifully slim. She had long wavy hair and very big round eyes. She also had a set of dimples that would show whenever she smiled, laughed or sometimes even when she talked. I was rather proud having her as my kakak angkat, because she was so beautiful and this made some students in my class envious. Kak Rose also had a particular  kind of walk which I try to follow rather unsuccessfully. She was quite popular for her walk, especially among us in the Third Form. It was stylish and quite sexy too.

However, the thing that makes me remember her most is that she was a very popular prefect, and quite strict too. Every Monday and Friday morning she would be on duty at the school gate. She checked the students’ uniform and badges, checked their nails and shoes. Whoever came late would be sent to the disciplinary teacher’s room to face the consequences. At first I took the advantage of my position as an adik angkat and quite a few times, she would ignore when I came late to school. I took it for granted that I was invincible, due to her being a perfect. After several times coming late to school Kak Rose suddenly became strict, and that ended my invicibility.

Other than being quite pretty and a popular  prefect, I also remember her the most because she was the best student in her form that final year she was with us. She excelled in her study and was the best student after the result of the examinations came out. I was rather proud of her.

On her last day of school she gave me a letter of encouragement. In the letter she wrote that she wanted to see me enter university and that she would wait for me there because I was special to her.
